The Chinese harvest celebration of Mid-Autumn Moon Festival is finally here! This festival generally takes place on the 15th day of eight months according to the Chinese Lunar Calendar. This is similar to American's thanksgiving day, except they don't celebrate it with turkeys. They celebrate it with moon cake in symbolism of the full moon. In California, this is a popular day among Asians and also non-Asians. There are many events that place during the evenings. They can range from moon cake tasting, lantern browsing, musical festivals to celebrate the night.
Hence, we are featuring a two items, in light of the Mid-Autumn Festival.
Floral Tank 2 Piece. I love the detailing of this simple top. It has an asymmetric cut on the bottom and the top part features an off-shoulder look. It's romantic without showing too much skin. The under layer tank has floral prints and the dark fabric color gives a contrast to the top layer. The detailing of the tied-back tank also gives off a feminine vibe. This top can be pair with skinny jeans, shorts, or dresses.
Pattern Long Skirt. This skirt can be worn during Spring, Summer, or Fall. They're light-weighted, but you can always wearing leggings under if you want extra warmth. There are many patterns to choose from. Depending on the look you want to achieve, they can be worn with sandals, flip-flops, or canvas shoes.
What are you wearing tonight for Mid-Autumn Festival?
